What Was That?

Yesterday was a very loooong stressful day at the office. I so badly want to tell all these people that I am only person and can only work so fast in between bathroom breaks!! But, I'd rather be busy then just sitting here so I'm not complaining. Anyway - after work I went home and changed into my sweats to curl up on the couch for a nap. Of course, the only night out of the week that I want to nap Dale decides he's going to be home! Again, I'm not complaining but geez, we need to coordinate our schedules a little better! The first thing Dale says is - Do you want to go for a ride? Really? My answer should have been no so I could take a nap, but like an idiot I said yes and rode to town with him to wash his truck.

Washing his truck took like an hour so by the time we got home I was starving. While I was working on my part of supper (Dale was working the grill!) it happened - a pain/cramp/ache that sent me to the closet counter to hold on to for support! Yep, I'm thinking it was a contraction - they came and went all evening long, some lasting a while and others not so much. I told Dale that I thought they were contractions and he didn't really act excited, we finally concluded that it just had to be my body reacting to the stressful day I had. Either way, I'm now officially going nuts thinking that at any given moment this baby can come and I'm not completely ready! I guess I know what I need to work on the next few days!

Goodness you are getting close!! Hopefully you will not have to deal with contractions for a long time...that would not be fun!

Get some rest and enjoy the beginning of the holidays!!! How exciting for you and your little family to be!
