At the lovely hour of 3:30 AM Saturday morning I awoke to an achy tummy. I thought that since I didn't have a real supper Friday night that I was just hungry. So I stumbled my way to the kitchen, cut up an apple, turned the TV on, and ate about 3 peices of my apple. About 15 minutes later I knew the true reason for my achy tummy!!!! I curled back up on the couch to only make a few more trips to the bathroom, after about the third time I pulled out my What to Expect when your Expecting book and my Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy Book so I could read about the morning sickness. Which I so cautiously skipped over before because I wasn't having any trouble with that! HA...that showed me.
Needless to say I spent all of Saturday trying to keep any type of fluid down that would stay down and nibbling on crackers. I have to say a big thank you to Debbie for helping me, I called her first because I knew she would be my expert! I never knew what you went through and I know mine was just a drop in the bucket compared to yours...but I have a new found respect for any pregnant woman going through morning sickness! My mom for bringing me Sprite and Saltines, which unfortunately didn't work so well and Dale's mom made the great trip to Columbia for Preggie Pop Drops which have been a life saver this weekend! I have a feeling I will always carry these drops with me just in case.
About 8:30pm Saturday night I was feeling good except for my aching back from laying around all day and not getting to do much. But Sunday morning I woke up and felt sooooo much better that I thought I would just take on the day. WRONG...my body was telling me to just sit and relax, so I didn't get a lot done, but I did get to do a little relaxing in the pool so that was nice.
