Our Christmas

Last year was technically Bryce’s First Christmas, but it was a little hard to see his excitement at 3 weeks old. So this year I was never more excited to celebrate the Christmas season with Bryce. After his birthday I was ready to get the house decorated for Christmas, and to our surprise, he very rarely messed with the decorations.

One Saturday morning I took Bryce to a Parents As Teachers play group where Santa Claus was going to be coming. Bryce had a great time making the crafts and playing with the other kids. He, however, was not as excited about seeing Santa and was definitely not going to sit on his lap!

I have pictures of him screaming with Santa…but something went wrong with the email and I can’t open the file. So if I get it figured out, I’ll share the pics later!

Even though Bryce wouldn’t actually sit and talk to Santa that day, we asked him if he wouldn’t mind coming to our house early this year. We knew we were going to be very busy and that we want to celebrate just a day early so we could enjoy our family time and not be rushed. Santa obliged, and brought all of our gifts to us on the 23rd.
Bryce with all the gifts that Santa brought him. Santa did bring the rocking chair, and Bryce LOVES to sit in it and rock. Very cute.
Bryce opening his gifts from Santa. New Nike shoes and a new John Deere Sweatshirt!

Taking a test of the paper...guess he had to make sure it tasted good!

A John Deere Pop-Out Barnyard...he's getting better at it!Helping Mommy open her gifts...he even thought he would carry around my new purse!
Bryce helping his Daddy open his new TV! Dale was so excited that he had to hook it up that night!

We were truly blessed this year. We look forward to spending more time together as a family this year and making memories together!
