Saturday, June 13 we made a trip to the State Fair Grounds in Sedalia to watch David show his heifer's at the Missouri Cattlemen's Show. It was a long day, but the weather was great so it was enjoyable.
We got to Sedalia early enough to do a little shopping. We of course headed to Gene's Boots & Hats where I got my birthday present from Mom & Dad....new boots! They are already broke in well and I could probably wear them everyday they are so comfortable. Hot....right???
We got back to the fairgrounds in time for lunch - ummmmmm sweet potatoes! I think he was cheesing at his Uncle David.
Finally the show started - Bryce and I couldn't stay for the whole show, but we were at least able to see David show his little heifer. He did really good, he won his division!

Gotta have boots to wear to the cattle show! Bryce doesn't even realize his future with showing cattle (he better want to or that will be hard on mom and dad), but these will be some great picture to share with him when he's older!
