Third Trimester!

We have entered into the final stretch of "Operation: Baby"!! Yesterday marked my 28th week of pregnancy and the introduction of the third trimester. The baby has become very active in the last week, Dale has finally been home to feel the baby move, kick, squirm, whatever it's doing in there! I'm so glad he's gotten to feel it, I was feeling so bad that he was never home when it was active.

There's not a lot of sleeping going on for me. I have been blessed with some pain in my hips that restricts my sleeping, I usually always end up in the recliner, it seems to be the only place that I can get comfortable...me and my 4 pillows! I'm surprised at how well I'm taking the lack of sleep. I used to require all the sleep I could get to actually be able to function and now I seem to be dealing just fine. I guess I'm prepared for many more sleepless nights ahead!

I have another check-up tomorrow, they have to give me another Rogam shot..yuck. The last one hurt bad, so I hope I can better handle this one. They said it would be the last thing I have before I leave the doctor's office tomorrow, so I have all day to look forward to it! There will only be one more shot after this and that will be the day of delivery!

I'm definitely not digging all the belly rubbers or the people making comments about my belly. I know that I'm self-conscience anyway and the belly rubbing and comments don't help my matters much at all. Sorry if you're a belly rubber and reading this...I'm thinking I need a shirt that say, please don't touch the bump!

Dale's family is throwing me a baby shower on Sunday and my family the weekend after, I'm super excited about it! I can't wait to see all the fun, cute things people will bring...plus it's always fun to spend time with family!! Then my friend Lynn has been gracious enough to host another shower just for the friends...that one is sure to be fun!!

I know I've slacked a little on the posting..I'll try to be better!

Thanks for the update! Isn't it so fun to see Dale's face when he feels the baby move? Sorry to hear your not sleeping much...that does not sound fun! I'm looking forward to seeing you at your shower on Sunday!
