I came home from my weekend in KC and talked non stop about the show and the people who were there - Dale found out really quick that I wished I was still there. I don't think he was surprised when I went up the following Saturday to watch my brother and sister show.
This is a picture of the backdrop in the show arena...so cool! If you can see the windmill in the bottom right corner..I wanted to take it home so bad! They had them sitting around other places and they would sell them, I just didn't think Dale would be too happy that I paid $300 for a windmill. But they were cool.
Cow Butts...the best part, bring them in from tie-outs, wash, dry, feed then relax until show time! If only I was pampered as much as our show cattle are! This week is the Cooper County Fair and then the State Fair is just a couple weeks away...I'm getting my time in. Hopefully the baby will want to show cattle so I can get involved again, but like I've said...I'm not going to force any of this on my children! It can be a pricey addiction to have:)
