It has been a very busy last few days! My birthday was Sunday along with Father's Day and today is our 2 year Anniversary...lots of celebrations.
My weekend start with dinner at my grandparents house and then closely followed by bedtime because I was simply exhausted on Friday. I might not have a physically exhausting job, but all the brain cells I have to use in a day really exhaust me! Saturday I tried to sleep in but it just wasn't working for me, but I did just relax so that was nice. I headed to Columbia Saturday morning to do a little baby shopping (crib & changing table) and then met a friend for lunch. It was nice not to be on a schedule for Saturday...things seemed less stressful that way. Sunday was my birthday and I didn't do much of anything....all day. We did have Dale's family over for Father's Day and we had planned to go swimming, but that didn't work out. I was so upset when the clouds started coming in and the wind picked up...all I wanted to do was swim! But we enjoyed everyone's company, it was a nice relaxing evening.
Dale and I went out to eat at Red Lobster (is there anywhere else to go?) Saturday night to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary.....soooooooo gooooood! Then we headed back to Boonville and spent the evening with friends!
Today is our anniversary...of course, its the first day that Dale has been able to spray since the middle of last week so he's not going to be home. Oh well, that's the life of a farmer's wife...you just go with the flow! But we did get to spend a little time together this morning with a paramed. We just recently got life insurance policies and had to have a physical, so this morning was spent answering questions, drawing blood and lots of other things to be left unmentioned. What quality time we spend together......!
