Perfect Weekend with the Perfect Ending

This was such a wonderful weekend! Friday night my mom had a Pampered Chef party..as always the food was yummy. Saturday started out a little cloudy with a few drops of rain, but it ended up being a great day! I spent the afternoon mowing our grass...I'm still not used to the big yard. When we lived in town an hour would cover everything, now it's 3 and 1/2 hours! Saturday night I went out with my friends, Lynn and Shauna and that was great! We closed down the restaurant and probably could have sat and talked even longer, I think we all got to say a lot of things that were waying on our minds and we all felt a lot better. Sunday I tried to sleep in, but that never seems to work, so I went to the grocery store and Dale and I made a big breakfast which we don't get to do anymore. We sat and talked about a lot of things and it was nice to spend that time with him. Of course, after the big meal I was tired and ready to go to sleep! So I took a little nap and Dale went to work, I then worked on planting flowers in pots to go around the swimming pool. I hope to post some pictures of those after they grow more and look a little fuller. We hope to have the pool open at the end of the month and when the weather gets warm enough our first pool party of the season!! Sunday night we BBQ pork steaks and had some yummy pasta salad then ice cream and strawberries for dessert! It was the perfect ending to a good weekend!
