Bryce,
It’s hard to believe that today you are one! It feels just like yesterday that your Daddy and I found out our lives were going to change forever. You have brought joy to our hearts that we never knew we were missing.
The day you were born will forever be in our minds and hearts. The moment we laid eyes on you we knew we would never stop loving you. We anxiously waited to watch you grow all while secretly hoping that you wouldn’t grow too fast.
There are days I wish I could just bottle you up and keep you young and innocent forever. But I know you can’t stay this way forever, so I will cherish every sweet baby moment I have with you now. Your snuggles every morning, the way your eyes light up when your Daddy walks through the door, the way your smile can melt my heart in an instant. I promise to leave no kiss unkissed and no snuggle unsnuggled. You are full of love Bryce, and we can’t wait to watch you grow even more.
Just remember, that no matter what our future holds, you will always be my baby and I will love your forever.

Bryce's First Hair Cut
I know I just posted about how much I love his curls...but the hair hanging in his eyes and covering up his ears just had to go. Bryce was perfect during his first hair cut, no crying...no moving his head away...he just sat there. Well, he did move his head away when he heard the hair dryers start up...but he was perfect none the less!
Just a couple of quick before shots!
So happy!
Just getting the hair a little wet!
Getting ready to get started! He was so serious!
The first cut, there goes all those curls.

He liked the cap, the penguins were fun!
Almost there, getting handsome!

A hair dryer turned on next to us, he was much more interested in that!

Trimming up the back a little bit, didn't want him to have a mohawk!
Finally, a smile...
Such a handsome little man now!

Curls
I LOVE his curly hair...
Especially right after a bath when it REALLY gets curly...
I think he is absolutely adorable; with all these curls...
Too bad he'll be getting a hair cut soon...
'Cause these curls are just too adorable for words...
Maybe we can wait...just a little bit longer...cause I really do LOVE these curls.

On the Move
Bryce has become more mobile everyday. I was finally able to get a short video of him walking tonight. Every time I turn around he is trying to move from one place to another by walking. I'm sure he'll be all over the place, even more, before we know it!

Happy (1st) Halloween!
Bryce had a very busy First Halloween! Bryce was an elephant this year, and it was adorable!

He thought he was pretty cool!
Wonder where he learned this habit from? I know I talk on the phone a lot, but not nearly as much as his dad....He kept saying "dadda" because I that is usually the person we are calling!
Just talking away!
Sitting in a bigger rocking chair this time!

After breakfast we left to do a little trick-or-treating at Great Grandma and Grandpa Vest's house. He got to bring home the whole bowl of Goldfish!
That afternoon we went to Columbia for a baby shower for a girl I used to work with. She is expecting at the end of December. Bryce was really good at the shower. He helped me make this scrapbook page for her.
We started off the weekend Friday morning, he wore his Halloween shirt to Stacia's!

Showing off his new walking skills!

We made treat boxes for all of the kids at Stacia's, they got tootsie pops (decorated like spiders) and Teddy Grahams!

Friday night we dressed Bryce up in his costume and went to Pilot Grove. We took some pictures, for his 11 month birthday, and then went trick-or-treating.
We only went over to Great Grandma and Grandpa Day's house...but it was fun!
Trick-Or-Treat!
Showing them how well he is walking now!

This chair has been around for A LONG TIME! My siblings and I (and maybe some cousins) have all had our 1 year pictures taken with this chair. I think it was a different color then, but Bryce had a lot of fun climbing on the chair!

Saturday was a very busy day. That morning, we got up and had muffins together...just like every Saturday morning! Bryce has become very independent when it comes to food. No more baby food, he is too impatient for us to feed it to him.
Yummy, Strawberry muffins!

This is the card I made for her shower. The theme for the baby's room is bumble bees, I thought it turned out pretty cute!
After a much needed nap, for the whole family, we set out for a long evening of trick-or-treating.
Our first stop was Great Grandpa Harold's. He had some yummy cookies for us!
Then we went to Great Grandma Bernadines house, Tyler "Cowboy" was there too!
Then we made it to Papa Eddie and Grandma Linda's house. There he got to take his costume off and have dinner!

Bryce turned 11 months old on the 30th. We'll be celebrating his 1st birthday in no time!
Happy Halloween!

Halloween Jammies!

My Favorite!
"Trying" to Take Pictures
We tried to put together a quick 11 month photo shoot Friday night. This sequence of photos got me laughing...thought they were too cute not to share!
Wanting to take some cute pictures in his Halloween Pajamas with a pillow.

Attack of the pillow

Grandma said..."sit RIGHT here"

Quick, he's got that look.....

Okay...we're done!
Fun Fall Days!
We have had WAY TOO MUCH rain this fall, but there have been some nice days mixed in with the gloomy rainy days. I had tried to get Bryce outside to enjoy the warm days and evenings when it works out. Here is a look back at the FUN FALL DAYS we have had!

Watching Daddy round up the cows so he can give them a vaccination. I ended up having to go help Dale, and Bryce just sat in his carseat and watched. I would wave at him and he would either wave back or just smile...so I knew he was okay!

Bryce and I came home to ALL 20 or more of these Geese one evening. We went outside to take their picture and they never moved. Then we sat on the front porch and watched them for the longest time. Two of them flew away and shortly after that they all took off. Bryce watched them very closely as they flew off!
This tree outside our house is so pretty, too bad the nasty weather has caused all of the leaves to fall off.
