Bryce's 10 Month Pictures

Bryce is 10 months old today! I sat up a fun spot to take some pictures last night and we tried to get a few. Bryce wasn't in the best of moods, but we got a few good pictures. I was having trouble with shadows, but it's just that time of year!

Proud of the leaf I gave him to hold....he did try to eat them at one point!

He had nothing to do with the straw bale or grass..he really doesn't like the feeling of either.

One of my favorite pictures...even though there are some shadows.

I wanted him to just hold the apple and smile...but he wouldn't, he kept trying to eat it. I actually did bite into the apple for him and he then started getting little pieces for himself!

We packed up and moved our background to a new locale and got rid of the shadows...I think he was happy to see Grandma in this picture!

I think at one point in time he said dada while playing with the corn cob!

Yeap, he's still working on that apple!

While taking these pictures, the dog a/k/a Coyote, ran in the pile of leaves attacked Bryce and then ran over to lick my face. Then proceeded to lay down in the middle of everything! Bryce didn't seem to care as much as I did.

Labor Day Weekend

I found these pictures last night and remembered that I never posted them to the blog!

Bryce enjoyed his first St. Joseph Parish Picnic over Labor Day Weekend. He was even lucky enough to indulge in the fried chicken, mashed potato and green bean dinner with me!

Going Fishing Didn't get a very good baby friendly prize...so Nathan got an extra snake to go with his collection!Were happy to get to visit with Cheryl, Bryan and Nathan over the Labor Day weekend. I spent all day Sunday in Pilot Grove working on Bryce's scrapbook. It is coming along very well. Bryce has graced me with going to bed by 8pm every night, so it gives me about 2 hours to work on the scrapbook each night. My time to relax...I love it!

Well Baby...You're a Growin' Baby!

Bryce had his 9 month Well Baby check yesterday afternoon. Dr. Selva said everything looked great and that he was right on track for his age! She was very excited to hear him say "mama" while she was trying to look at his ears...he just didn't want to lay still for her!!

She said we could start introducing more table foods; because once he hits a year he'll be eating mostly table foods as we stop the formula and introduce him to whole milk!

He's got his 2 bottom teeth, which you've already seen, and has 1 top tooth that has come through. It looks like there are 3 other top teeth that are working on coming through.

Here is a look at his "stats" from yesterday...

Height: 29 inches
Weight: 22 pounds 12 ounces

He was in the 85th percentile for his growth yesterday. He has grown 3 pounds 10 ounces and 1 1/2 inches since his 6 month appointment...he's a growin' baby!

We won't be going back to the doctor until he's 12 months old...we'll have to wait and see how much he's grown until then!
