We got to stand next to Becca and Reece, they are good friends of Aunt Erin's! Bryce liked chewing on the card with our number on it!
YAY....we got 2nd place!!!! Garrison, the prince, gave us our trophy!
Bryce really liked his trophy...he carried it around very proudly!

Mommy with her cute baby...he is at the stage of putting everything in his mouth and was more interested in watching all the other people around us!
Daddy was very proud of his baby boy!
YAY for Bryce!!

Can you tell he got tired fast? The eyes give it away first, but the graham cracker crumbs falling out of the mouth are the best part! Bryce doesn't get to have too many graham crackers during the day because they make him very hyper, we don't know why, but he still enjoys them when he get to have one!

Getting very sleepy! Not long after this picture, he was sound asleep!
Sunday morning we got to sleep in a little bit. Bryce even took advantage of the day to sleep in. Dale made breakfast for us...Bryce thought he could help. I think he was just entertained by watching Dale work so hard on breakfast!
Bryce and Dale spent the rest of the morning lounging around the house while I did some housework. Bryce is working on crawling...he just hasn't gotten there yet. I encourage him everyday to crawl, but in the back of my mind I am terrified...I am not ready for that!
Sunday evening, we were excited to get the news that Debbie, Cole and Caden had made the trip from Iowa to spend time with the family during the Cooper County Fair. In true Wassmann fashion we all got together for a delicious meal....we took advantage of the good moods from the boys and got some pictures. I only got this one...I was too busy trying to keep everyone's attention!!
After dinner we all gathered for some fun playtime with the kids. I'm not sure what they were playing, but Cole and Bryce seemed to enjoy themeselves!
Big hugs....
What, mom...are you taking pictures of me???
Then I need to smile for the camera!!!!
Too bad Daddy got in the way of that picture!
We are all gearing up for the Cooper County Fair this weekend. Of course, this will be Bryce's first time at the fair...so it will be a lot of fun for us!

Trying to reach the toys in the very back of the basket...he was almost completely inside the basket at one point!

Of course, the McDonald's over the road.
The rest of Tuesday was spent settling into the hotel and making our way around Tulsa. Wednesday morning I got up early with the boys and went to the fairgrounds..I helped them get the heifers washed, dryed and feed for the morning. Then I went back to the hotel to get started for the day. But it rained and we didn't get to do much that day. I was hoping to go to the zoo with Bryce. He didn't seem to care......
Thursday was David's first show day of the week. He showed his bred-and-owned heifer.
She got 3rd place in her class...not too bad! The highest we have ever placed at this show is 3rd place..I got that when I showed my heifer Boomer in Springfield, Ill. So we were proud of David!
Thursday afternoon, Bryce and I went shopping with mom. We found a really nice mall that we spent a few hours shopping. Bryce got a Nemo stuffed animal from the Disney store. I was actually thinking of not buying it for him, but he sneezed on it, so I thought maybe it wouldn't be appropriate to put it back on the shelf! It has turned into one of his favorite toys!
I ended up getting sick Thursday evening and through the night with a sinus infection/allergies/cold...it just wasn't fun at all.. Bryce was already out of sorts on Thursday, I think he was just ready to go home and I was thinking of coming home a day early. After I got sick, mom decided she would just take us all home on Friday.
Bryce and David hanging out before he had to get ready to show.

We stayed to watch David show his little heifer again on Friday. Boy are we glad he did. He ended up getting 1st place in his class!!! That is so exciting for him/us.

I really wanted to holler for David after the judge picked him for 1st place...but Bryce was sleeping on my lap and I didn't really want to wake him up. I think Bryce slept through most of the show!
The price for class winners were a wooden TV tray with the logo burnt into the top. I'm sure it is proudly displayed by David at home!!
We were sad to have to leave early, but happy to be home. I know David understood, that day the temperature got up to 106...so we were really glad to be home! Next year it is back in KCMO, so we will for sure be attending the show again!

Of course the bottle of wine and chocolates that came with it were pretty special themeselves!
I was also spoiled with a new video camera from Dale, Moppins from Debbie, Eddie and Linda got me a yard stake with John Deere figures and our mailing address on it, and another of my favorites will be listed in another post! I also got lots of cards in the mail which are always very nice. Thank you to everyone for making my birthday so special!
Dale and I helped celebrate our friend Luke's 30th birthday on the 12th. Then we attended a surprise birthday party for Kim on the 28th. Lots of fun!
Along with all of our birthday celebrations, the Wassmann's celebrated our wedding anniversaries. Our 3rd anniversary was June 17, Danny & Melanie's 4th anniversary was June 18 and Debbie & Chris' 5th anniversary was June 19. It's is Melanie and I's mission to take a family anniversary trip some year...when, we just don't know!
June was a busy month...but I don't think we would have it any other way. I can already say that they rest of the summer looks to be just as busy!
