Yesterday was a very loooong stressful day at the office. I so badly want to tell all these people that I am only person and can only work so fast in between bathroom breaks!! But, I'd rather be busy then just sitting here so I'm not complaining. Anyway - after work I went home and changed into my sweats to curl up on the couch for a nap. Of course, the only night out of the week that I want to nap Dale decides he's going to be home! Again, I'm not complaining but geez, we need to coordinate our schedules a little better! The first thing Dale says is - Do you want to go for a ride? Really? My answer should have been no so I could take a nap, but like an idiot I said yes and rode to town with him to wash his truck.
Washing his truck took like an hour so by the time we got home I was starving. While I was working on my part of supper (Dale was working the grill!) it happened - a pain/cramp/ache that sent me to the closet counter to hold on to for support! Yep, I'm thinking it was a contraction - they came and went all evening long, some lasting a while and others not so much. I told Dale that I thought they were contractions and he didn't really act excited, we finally concluded that it just had to be my body reacting to the stressful day I had. Either way, I'm now officially going nuts thinking that at any given moment this baby can come and I'm not completely ready! I guess I know what I need to work on the next few days!

Funky Smells
It's has been a CRAZY week between work, home and getting things ready for our new arrival. What's worse is that with this crazy week has come some funky smells around our house. Tuesday night I thought I smelled something funny but I went on to bed not thinking of it anymore. Then I woke up to the smell...a little critter made it's home in our furnance and went to critter heaven. That was great, of course, Dale's been a little congested and couldn't smell what I was smelling so he ignored it. He thought spraying Febreze in the furnance would work...wrong, so he said he would work on it after he got home that evening. Dale, along with Zach and Chris, were able to find our mouse friend and dispose of the smell. What a relief!
THEN, Thursday morning I opened our fridge to get a wiff of something bad...oh it was bad. I cleaned everything out and still the smell remains. I hope to get this smell taken care of tonight. My sensitive nose can't take any more of these funky smells.

4 1/2 Weeks to Go!!
Here's just a quick update as to what is happening in preparation for Baby Wassmann's arrival. It will be here before we know it!
I go back to the doctor next Tuesday and then I start going weekly until the little bean arrives..although from the movement, kicks, and gabs little is an understatement!! The last time I was at the doctor they thought I was measuring a little big, so the Baby must have picked up a few pounds since the last check up...oh well, as long as it's healthy I don't care! I'd like to see how big the Baby has gotten, but soon enough we'll know that!!
This weekend we are getting our carpets cleaned, something that has needed to be done for quite some time. Of course I don't always think about these things, but now we have to move everything out of the Baby's room so those carpets can be cleaned. Oh well, since I'm lucky enough to have the day after Thanksgiving off I can work on putting things back in their place!
I'm getting so excited about Christmas, I should have my shopping done this weekend. I wanted to get an early start on things since Baby Wassmann's arrival date is unknown, my mom and I are going shopping Saturday to get things finished up! I hope to get my Christmas decorations up the day after Thanksgiving too...I just love this time of year!
